Create a Fundraiser

Thank you for your interest in creating an online fundraiser for PKU News & HowMuchPhe.org! Sharing a fundraiser through social media or email not only raises vital funds to help us support the PKU community, it spreads awareness of PKU and the challenges of living with a restricted diet. How often have your friends asked how they can help, or what they can do to make managing PKU easier? Here's an easy way to get them involved & support the entire metabolic community!

  1. Go to Facebook.com/fund/nationalpkunews/
  2. Follow the prompts to create a fundraiser, adding a title, a description, and your own image, if you like
  3. Facebook will lead you through inviting friends to donate and sharing on your timeline
  4. Facebook does not charge any processing fees, and the funds are automatically delivered to PKU News

  2. Follow the prompts to create an account (name/email/password) and enter a description & goal for your fundraiser
  3. Upload a personalized image & save
  4. Copy the link to your fundraiser & share by email or on social media. GiveLively charges a minimal processing fee, and the funds are automatically delivered to PKU News
